Hapilee Handmade uses a hand guided technique on a 1920’s Chainstitch Singer machine. Chainstitch embroidery is unlike modern machine embroidery as NO computers or programmed designs are involved. The stitch direction is guided by a handle under the machine giving each piece a unique and handmade feel.

The best items to chainstitch on are high quality non-stretch or low stretch fabrics including cotton, linen, denim, and other natural fibers.
